The Trade Desk launches offices in Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, Korea under the Leadership of Jae Woo Chung and Tetsuya Shintani

Chung oversees region as President of Asia, while Shintani will serve as Country Manager in Japan

LOS ANGELES & TOKYO – July 28, 2014 – The Trade Desk, Inc., a global demand-side platform in real-time bidding, has expanded its Asia footprint with the opening of offices in Tokyo, Japan and Seoul, Korea to support the top six regional trading desks and growing client demand in the area.

Jae Woo Chung, formerly President of Asia for WPP’s 24/7 Media, has been named The Trade Desk’s President of Asia while The Trade Desk’s Tokyo office will be helmed by Tetsuya Shintani.

Chung formerly served as President of Asia for 24/7 Media where he oversaw all of the company’s technology and business lines in the market, as well as leading strategic joint ventures in the region. Chung’s role is dedicated to the elevation and growth of RTB at a critical time in Asia’s business and advertising history.
