Account Payable Specialist


WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

This is a newly defined role based in The Trade Desk’s International HQ in Farringdon, resulting from the current and planned International expansion.
 
The role will be responsible for assisting the AP Manager with the processing of all Europe & Asia AP items through to payment, pro-actively ensuring AP processes are compliant with global policies and procedures, within an effective internal control environment.

KEY DAY TO DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coding and inputting invoices and employee expenses accurately and timely into the accounting system
  • Ensure the appropriate approvals are gained for all supplier invoices
  • Preparation and processing of vendor invoice and employee expense payment runs in line with set timelines
  • Ensure all SOX’s controls related to AP are being followed
  • Ensure that all supplier accounts are reconciled and resolve reconciling items
  • Liaise with suppliers including dealing with queries about payments
  • Ensure all vendor invoices are stored electronically in line with departmental requirements
  • Assist with identifying any AP related accruals/prepayments required at month end
  • Assist with monthly accounting tasks as and when required
  • Assist with internal and external audits as and when required
  • Participation in other ad-hoc projects as required

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 1-2 prior years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience working in a multi-entity, multi-currency company
  • Ability to work under pressure whilst still maintaining attention to detail and effective controls
  • Excellent customer service skills, and the ability to liaise across multiple locations
  • Knowledge of Expensify or similar expense system beneficial
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Team Player and self-motivated
  • Good working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
