General Manager, Inventory Partnerships - North Asia


OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a Director of Inventory Partnerships to help build and foster relationships with publishers in the North Asia region

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:

  • Become an expert on The Trade Desk’s Publisher Management Platform
  • Manage and expand our relationships across publishers, SSPs, andadtech partners in the North Asia region covering Hong Kong, China, Taiwan, Japan and Korea
  • Report to VP of Inventory Partnerships in New York, assist the VP to activate new partnerships and integrations, as well as to build and manage a pipeline of deals
  • Lead the inventory partnerships team in North Asia
  • Support day to day partner management functions across all inventory partnerships established in the region
  • Maintain and document knowledge of each supplier offering, from technical specs to future plans and roadmaps
  • Drive strategies for our inventory partnerships growth in North Asia, spearhead identification, evaluation, selection and integration of new partner relationships in channels namely display, mobile, video and social
  • Provide input to the Product Roadmap by communicating supplier requirements and business opportunities
  • Work directly with our internal teams and clients in a training/subject matter expert function
  • Attend key client meetings as a subject matter expert in the region
  • As a brand ambassador to build rapports with publishers and SSP partners
  • Understand and communicate The Trade Desk’s value proposition and technology; evangelize The Trade Desk to partners 

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
  • 10-15 years of online advertising experience required (ideally working with publishers/ssps)
  • At least 4 years of client facing experience working with clients in North Asia market
  • Proven track record of forging a strong relationship with inventory partners, understanding their objectives and recommending best strategies
  • Ability to work cross functionally with many teams in the organization including product, engineering, sales and account management
  • Expertise in working with DSPs, ad exchanges, aggregators, ad servers, and other optimization platforms is a plus
